Share Your Creativity With PromptShelf
PromptShelf is a place for creators to share their AI photography prompts and the creative results they make with them.
When you submit your work, you’re giving PromptShelf the opportunity to showcase your creativity with the wider community. We want PromptShelf to be a useful, inspiring, and respectful place where people can discover new ideas, learn from creative techniques, and explore what others are creating.
These guidelines explain what you can share, what you need to have permission to share, and how PromptShelf handles submissions.
By submitting content to PromptShelf, you agree to these guidelines and our [Terms and Conditions].
1. What You Can Share
You may submit creative work such as:
- AI photography prompts.
- Reference images used with your prompt.
- AI-generated result images.
- Your creator name or username.
- Categories and tags relevant to your work.
- Other information requested by the submission form.
Your submission should represent genuine creative work that you are permitted to share.
2. Share Work You Have the Right to Share
Before submitting anything, make sure you have the necessary rights, permissions, and authorizations to share it with PromptShelf and allow us to showcase it publicly.
This applies to everything included in your submission, including prompts, photographs, reference images, result images, names, logos, and other material.
For example, you should not upload a photograph simply because you found it online.
Being able to view, download, or use an image from another website or social platform does not automatically give you permission to republish it on PromptShelf.
3. If Your Submission Shows Another Person
Please take extra care when your submission includes an identifiable person.
If a photograph or other material shows another person, you are responsible for obtaining any permission, consent, authorization, or other legal basis required to share and publicly showcase that person’s:
- Photograph.
- Face or likeness.
- Name.
- Personal information.
- Other identifiable characteristics.
This is particularly important when the person is a private individual.
You should not submit someone’s private photograph, personal information, or other sensitive material without the appropriate permission or authorization.
Important
Owning a photograph does not necessarily mean you have unlimited permission to publish everything about the person shown in it.
Copyright in a photograph and the rights or interests of the person depicted can involve different issues. Indian copyright law separately recognizes photographs as protected works.
If you are unsure whether you have the necessary permission, do not submit the material.
4. Names, Creator Information, and Attribution
When you submit your work, you may provide a creator name, username, social profile, or other attribution information.
Make sure the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
If your submission is published, PromptShelf may display the creator information you provide alongside your work.
Do not use another person’s name or identity in a way that falsely suggests that they created, approved, or submitted the work.
5. Reference Images
Reference images are an important part of many AI photography workflows.
Before submitting a reference image, make sure you have the necessary rights and permissions to share it publicly.
Do not submit:
- Photographs copied from photographers or websites without permission.
- Private photographs obtained without authorization.
- Images containing confidential information.
- Images containing sensitive personal documents.
- Images of another person where you do not have the necessary permission or legal basis to publish them.
- Images that violate another person’s rights.
If you created the photograph yourself, that does not automatically resolve every issue involving people, private information, trademarks, or other rights appearing in the image.
6. AI-Generated Result Images
You may share AI-generated result images that you are permitted to share.
However, you are responsible for considering whether your result contains material that may belong to someone else or may create other legal or privacy concerns.
For example, do not knowingly submit an AI-generated image that:
- Misuses another person’s identity.
- Presents a real person in a misleading or harmful way.
- Contains private or sensitive information.
- Uses protected material in a way you do not have permission to use.
- Violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
PromptShelf may remove a result image if we receive a legitimate complaint or reasonably believe that publication creates a legal, privacy, safety, or other significant concern.
7. Content We Do Not Accept
Please do not submit content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Uses another person’s image or identity without appropriate authorization.
- Contains private or confidential information without authorization.
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Sexualizes or exploits minors.
- Harasses, threatens, humiliates, or targets another person.
- Promotes illegal activity.
- Contains malware, malicious code, or harmful files.
- Contains spam or deceptive material.
- Impersonates another person in a misleading or harmful way.
- Attempts to manipulate, abuse, or disrupt PromptShelf.
- Violates applicable law.
- Otherwise creates a serious safety, legal, or privacy concern.
We may remove content that does not clearly fall into one of these categories when we reasonably believe that keeping it published would be inappropriate for PromptShelf.
8. Originality and Creative Contribution
We encourage creators to submit work that reflects their own creative process.
You should not intentionally submit someone else’s work and present it as your own.
If your work incorporates material created by another person or organization, make sure you have the necessary permission and provide attribution where appropriate.
PromptShelf does not require every submission to be completely created from scratch, but you must have the right to share the material you submit.
9. How PromptShelf Reviews Submissions
Every submission may be reviewed before publication.
We may consider factors such as:
- Whether the submission follows these guidelines.
- Whether the content appears appropriate for PromptShelf.
- Whether the submitter appears to have the necessary rights or permissions.
- Whether the images and prompt are relevant to the submission.
- Whether the submission provides useful creative value to visitors.
- Whether publication could create privacy, copyright, safety, or other legal concerns.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
PromptShelf may decline a submission without publishing it.
10. How We May Showcase Your Work
If we publish your submission, PromptShelf may present it in ways that help visitors discover and understand your work.
This may include:
- Publishing a dedicated prompt page.
- Displaying your prompt.
- Displaying reference and result images.
- Displaying your creator name or username.
- Assigning categories and tags.
- Showing the submission in search results.
- Including it in related prompts or collections.
- Featuring it in selected areas of PromptShelf.
- Promoting the published work through PromptShelf’s channels.
We may make reasonable formatting or presentation changes, such as resizing images, correcting formatting, organizing categories, or adjusting titles and descriptions so the content works properly on the website.
These presentation changes do not transfer ownership of your underlying work to PromptShelf.
11. Your Responsibility After Submission
You remain responsible for the work you choose to share.

PromptShelf may temporarily restrict or remove the relevant content while the matter is reviewed.
12. Reporting a Problem With Published Content
If you believe something published on PromptShelf:
- Belongs to you and was published without permission.
- Uses your photograph, name, or likeness improperly.
- Violates your privacy.
- Infringes your copyright or other rights.
- Contains private or sensitive information that should not be publicly available.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.

13. Removal of Content
PromptShelf may remove, restrict, or unpublish content when we reasonably believe that:
- It violates these guidelines.
- It violates our Terms and Conditions.
- It infringes another person’s rights.
- It contains unauthorized personal or private information.
- We receive a legitimate complaint.
- Publication creates a legal, privacy, safety, or security concern.
- The content is misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable for PromptShelf.
We may also remove content for editorial or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee that every published submission will remain available permanently.
14. Repeated Violations
If a person repeatedly submits content that violates these guidelines or results in legitimate rights, privacy, or safety complaints, PromptShelf may:
- Reject future submissions.
- Restrict submission privileges.
- Remove previously published submissions.
- Restrict access to relevant website features.
- Take other reasonable action necessary to protect PromptShelf and its community.
15. Respect the Creative Community
PromptShelf is intended to be a place where people can share ideas and creative work.
Please:
- Respect other creators.
- Give credit where appropriate.
- Do not claim another creator’s work as your own.
- Do not deliberately submit content to cause harm to another person.
- Do not use submissions to harass or target people.
- Be honest about the work you share.
We may take action when behavior undermines the purpose of the community.
16. Relationship With Our Terms and Conditions
These Community Guidelines work together with the PromptShelf Terms and Conditions.
The Terms and Conditions contain the broader rules governing use of PromptShelf, including intellectual property, user submissions, licenses, liability, and other legal matters.
If there is a conflict between these guidelines and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines when PromptShelf changes, when our community develops, or when legal or operational requirements change.
The Last Updated date at the top of this page will be changed when we make significant updates.
